This hiking route takes you to the peak of Okgusan Mountain, also known as Palgakjeong, in the area of Seoul and Siheungsi. The trail is 1.6 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 66 meters, making it super easy and suitable for hikers of all levels.
At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area for your convenience. As you make your way up, about 0.73 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the shelter at the summit where you can rest and enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Further along the trail, at around 0.74 kilometers, you will encounter the peak of Okgusan Mountain, a natural highlight of the hike. Continuing on, you will come across the monument of "Soyeo Statue" located about 0.34 kilometers from the start, adding a touch of historic significance to your journey.
As you approach the endpoint of the trail, you will find various other monuments such as the Okgu Park Spring and the Sogong Performance Hall, each offering a unique insight into the local culture.
After completing the circular route, you will return to your starting point, having experienced a leisurely hike with plenty of points of interest along the way.
