Welcome to the hiking route to Diga del lago di San Giacomo di Fraele in Valdidentro. This easy out-and-back trail spans 4.4 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

Halfway through the hike, at around 2.2 kilometers, you'll reach a picnic site and a waterfall, where you can rest and enjoy the surroundings. Nearby, there's also a barbecue site for those craving a grilled meal. For those in need of hydration, a drinking water station is available about 0.99 kilometers from the start.
As you make your way back, you'll pass by more ruins and a saddle named Passo di Fraele. Towards the end of the trail, there are additional amenities such as drinking water stations, bike parking, and barbecue facilities.
