This challenging 10.349-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the stunning landscapes surrounding Lago Pontonnet. The trail starts at Rifugio Dondena, where you can find useful information about the area before heading out. As you make your way along the path, you'll come across various points of interest.

Approximately 0.04 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water source to refill your bottle. Around the same distance, you can also explore informational spots such as Mappa Parco del Monte Avic and Mappa della Via Alpina for some insightful details about the region.

At about 2.26 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the border of Parco del Monte Avic, where dogs are allowed on a leash. Further along, at a distance of 0.7 kilometers, you will encounter a memorial dedicated to Pierino Danna.

Midway through the journey, at 1.66 kilometers from the start, you'll have the opportunity to learn more about the area at an information point. Additionally, at the 5.03-kilometer mark, you will pass by Lago Pontonnet, providing a picturesque setting for a rest stop.

Throughout the hike, you'll be surrounded by natural beauty, with the possibility of spotting Lago Bianco approximately 4.25 kilometers from the start. Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this difficult but rewarding adventure.
