This difficult 8.7-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you through a beautiful area with a total elevation gain of 259 meters. The journey will last approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the hike, you will come across Parc Àvia Jovita, a lovely picnic site where you can rest and enjoy the surroundings. As you continue, you will find a parking area nearby.
Further along the trail, about 2.5 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the historic Can Margarit de Dalt ruins, providing a glimpse into the past. After another 1.9 kilometers, you will reach Puig de la Creu de Castellar, a natural peak offering stunning views of the area.
As you approach the midway point, you will pass by Cova de Sa Guilla, a cave entrance worth exploring. Nearby, at around 4.3 kilometers from the start, you will find Cova d'en Sardineta, another intriguing cave.
Continuing on, you will come across several viewpoints, including Mirador de Ruàs, Abric d'en Dalí, and Menir Ajagut, offering panoramic views of the landscape.
Towards the end of the hike, at around 4.36 kilometers from the start, you will find Fuente de la Doma, a refreshing fountain where you can replenish your water supply. Finally, you will reach the destination - Pedre amb Cassoletes, a unique spot to admire before heading back the way you came.
