This hiking route takes you through the scenic area surrounding Menir de la Cova d'en Mon. The trail is 7.227 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 225 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 2 hours and 14 minutes to complete.
As you begin your journey, you will come across Parc Àvia Jovita, a picnic site located right next to the trail. This is a perfect spot to rest and enjoy a meal before continuing on. Just a short distance away, you will find a parking area, making it convenient for you to access the trailhead.
Further along the trail, about 2.51 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the ruins of Can Margarit de Dalt, giving you a glimpse into the area's historic past. As you continue, you will pass by Puig de la Creu de Castellar, a natural peak offering panoramic views of the surroundings.
Although not directly on the trail, you may also spot the Castell de Calonge, a historic castle located just 0.01 kilometers away. Additionally, there are viewpoints such as Menir Ajagut and Menir de la Cova d'en Mon, where you can take in the beautiful scenery.
