This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Pedres Dretes d'en Ruàs. The route is a circular one, starting and ending at the same point.
As you begin your hike, you will pass by Parc Àvia Jovita, a lovely picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Not far from there, you will come across Can Margarit de Dalt, historic ruins that are worth exploring.
During your hike, you will also encounter Font Nina and Font del campament, two drinking water sources along the trail. Make sure to refill your water bottle here.
As you continue the hike, you will pass by the viewpoint Mirador de Ruàs, offering stunning panoramic views of the area.
Further along the trail, you will reach Puig de la Creu de Castellar, a natural peak with impressive views.
The route also takes you past several cave entrances, such as Cova des Cap Gos, Cova de l'Ullastre, and Cova del Xuclamel, adding a sense of adventure to your hike.
For history enthusiasts, a visit to Castell de Calonge, an ancient castle, is a must.
With a total distance of 10.363 kilometers and an elevation gain of 259 meters, this hike is rated as difficult. Make sure to wear proper hiking gear, bring enough water, and check the weather forecast before heading out.
