Welcome to the hiking route to Guru Marga in Kathmandu! This super easy trail spans a distance of approximately 1.239 kilometers with an elevation gain of 33 meters, making it perfect for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will pass by Srijansil Youth Club Parking, where you can safely leave your vehicle before embarking on the trail. About 0.22 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a beautiful viewpoint that offers stunning panoramic views of the surroundings.
Along the way, you will find Paras Catering, a restaurant located 0.62 kilometers from the start, where you can refuel and recharge. There are also several drinking water stations nearby to keep you hydrated throughout your trek.
At a distance of 0.15 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the famous Pashupatinath Temple, a must-see attraction known for its cultural and historical significance. Further along the trail, at the 0.62-kilometer mark, there are various benches and cafes where you can take a break and soak in the natural beauty of the area.
As this route is an out-and-back type, you will retrace your steps on the way back, giving you a chance to appreciate the sights from a different perspective.
