This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Via Monte Gennaro. The trail is an out-and-back type, covering a distance of approximately 3.094 kilometers with an elevation gain of 33 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail, perfect for leaving your vehicle before setting off. Further along the path, at around 0.29 kilometers from the start, you will find a fountain where you can refill your water bottle and take a short break.

Continuing on, at 1.31 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a spring off the trail, offering a refreshing spot to rest and enjoy the surroundings. As you approach the 1.55-kilometer mark, there is a water source located close to the trail, providing a picturesque spot to relax and rehydrate.

If you choose to venture slightly off the trail around 1.35 kilometers from the start, you will find Colle del Castagnaro, a peak offering stunning panoramic views of the area. Lastly, as you make your way back, a parking area conveniently located at the trailhead awaits you for a smooth end to your hiking adventure.
