This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and challenging terrain. With a total distance of 7.347 kilometers and an elevation gain of 276 meters, this difficult trail will provide you with a rewarding experience.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find "Ristorante da Zi Peppe" where you can grab a meal before starting your adventure. As you continue on, you will come across "Casa del Pastore", an alpine hut located 3.67 kilometers from the start of the trail. This is a great spot to rest and take in the surrounding nature.
Further along the route, at 2.41 kilometers from the start, you will encounter "Colle della Caparnassa", a peak offering panoramic views of the area. As you make your way back, you can stop by "Madonna del Carmine", an archaeological site located 1.41 kilometers from the start, and learn about the history of the area.
Remember to bring plenty of water, especially on hot days, and check the weather forecast before heading out.
