This extremely difficult 12.186-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the stunning alpine landscape of Refuge du Nid d'Aigle. Starting from the Parking du Crozat, you'll begin your journey with a gradual ascent, passing by Le Crozat and Tour du Mont-Blanc information points. As you continue, you'll come across the informative Le Planet markers at 1.15 kilometers into the hike.
Midway through the trail, at around 2.67 kilometers, you'll reach Le Plat de l'Are and L'Are, offering a perfect spot to rest and take in the panoramic views of the surrounding area. Further along the path, at 2.52 kilometers, you'll be mesmerized by the majestic Cascade du Chalet de Lare, adding a touch of natural beauty to your trek.
Moreover, at 4.84 kilometers, you'll find a viewpoint overlooking the picturesque surroundings, making it an ideal place to capture some stunning photographs. Finally, after covering 5.88 kilometers, you'll reach the Refuge du Nid d'Aigle, where you can relax before heading back on the trail.
