The Chemin des Rognes hiking route is located in a beautiful area with stunning views and challenging terrain. The route is circular, starting and ending at the Parking du Crozat. This extremely difficult hike covers a distance of 12.655 kilometers and has an elevation gain of 1019 meters.

Along the way, hikers will come across several points of interest. About 5.78 kilometers from the start, there is the Refuge du Nid d'Aigle, an alpine hut where hikers can take a break and admire the surrounding scenery. At 2.67 kilometers from the start, you'll find Le Plat de l'Are, offering information about the area.

As you continue on the trail, at 6.12 kilometers from the start, don't miss the viewpoint at an elevation offering breathtaking views. For those interested in climbing, the Cascade du Chalet de Lare is located 2.52 kilometers from the start.
