This extremely difficult 12.655-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the stunning area of Chemin des Rognes. This challenging trail offers an elevation gain of 1019 meters and is estimated to take around 5 hours and 28 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you'll come across the "Parking du Crozat" located right at the beginning of the trail. About 5.78 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the "Refuge du Nid d'Aigle", an alpine hut where you can take a well-deserved break and enjoy the surrounding views.
Midway through the hike, at approximately 2.67 kilometers, you'll find "Le Plat de l'Are" and "L'Are", offering interesting information about the area. Make sure to stop by the "Cascade du Chalet de Lare" at 2.52 kilometers for a unique experience.
At 6.12 kilometers, you'll reach a stunning viewpoint that provides a picturesque panorama of the surroundings. Further along the trail, at 4.84 kilometers, there's another viewpoint that offers breathtaking views of the area.
