Welcome to the hiking route to Pui Shue Wan Shan in Hong Kong. This extremely difficult out-and-back trail spans a distance of 14.467 kilometers with an elevation gain of 182 meters, so be prepared for a challenging trek.
Starting off, you'll find yourself at the parking area which is conveniently located right at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way along the path, you'll come across the Tai Mei Tuk Barbecue Area where you can take a break and enjoy a picnic or BBQ about 0.16 kilometers into the hike. Further along, at 0.39 kilometers, there is an information point where you can learn more about the surroundings.
As you continue your journey, you'll pass by the Jardine's Lookout Shelter at 0.04 kilometers and the Country Art Museum around the halfway mark of the trail. Don't forget to refill your water bottle at the Water Filling Station located at 0.48 kilometers to stay hydrated through the challenging terrain.
Along the way, you'll encounter several viewpoints such as Cheung Pai Tun at 6.2 kilometers and Sam Mun Tun at 3.56 kilometers. Take a moment to appreciate the stunning scenery from these vantage points before pushing forward.
For those interested in history, there is a memorial site at 0.6 kilometers where you can learn about the area's past. Additionally, at various points along the trail, you'll find more information points to enhance your hiking experience.
