This extremely difficult hiking route takes you to the majestic Roen peak in a stunning natural area. With a total distance of 13.554 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1097 meters, this challenging hike is not for the faint of heart. The estimated duration for this hike is about 5 hours and 52 minutes, so be prepared for a full day of adventure.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Waldbrandweiher Schmiedeben, a beautiful water body located 1.22 kilometers from the trail. This serene spot is perfect for a quick rest and some scenic views before continuing on your way.
Further along the trail, at a distance of 4.81 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Schwarzer Kopf viewpoint. Here, you can take in panoramic vistas of the surrounding landscape and appreciate the beauty of the area.
