Approximately 1 kilometer into the hike, you will find Waldbrandweiher Schmiedeben, a serene water feature perfect for a quick rest stop. Continuing on, at around 4 kilometers, you will reach the Schwarzer Kopf viewpoint, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

At the halfway point of the hike, approximately 6 kilometers in, you will arrive at the highlight of the route, the Roen peak. This majestic peak not only provides breathtaking views but also serves as a great spot for a well-deserved break before heading back.
