The hiking route to Pic du Mont is a moderate difficulty out-and-back trail that spans approximately 6.95 kilometers with an elevation gain of 298 meters. The total duration for this hike is estimated to be around 2 hours and 21 minutes.
Starting at the designated parking area, hikers will begin their journey towards Pic du Mont. Along the way, you will pass by the serene Lac de Layous, located just 0.14 kilometers from the starting point. This beautiful water feature is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the views.
As you continue on the trail, you will come across the Col de Moulata, a saddle point located 0.06 kilometers from the start. This location provides a nice vantage point to take in the surrounding scenery.
