Welcome to Meadows-in-the-Sky Parkway - Area B (Shelter Bay/Mica Creek) hiking route! This trail offers a challenging adventure with a distance of 15.285 kilometers and an elevation gain of 968 meters, making it extremely difficult but rewarding for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area 7.08 kilometers from the trailhead, where you can safely leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike. Around 5.18 kilometers into the trail, you will find a water source, perfect for refilling your water bottles and staying hydrated.
Midway through the trail at 7.64 kilometers, there is a viewpoint offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Take a moment to rest on the bench nearby and soak in the natural beauty of the area.
Towards the end of the trail, approximately 7.53 kilometers from the start, you will find another parking area for your convenience. Finally, at the turnaround point, there is the Monashee Viewpoint, located right on the trail and providing a breathtaking spot to enjoy the scenery.
