Hiking : Cabana de Setut - GR-11

This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the Cabana de Setut in the picturesque Pyrenees mountains. The 16.623 km trail features a challenging elevation gain of 1406 meters and is expected to take around 7 hours and 21 minutes to complete.

Starting at the parking area near the trailhead, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the hike, you will pass by the Caseta forestal de la Font de les Pollineres, a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. As you continue, you will encounter Estany Petit de la Pera, a small lake located 1.68 km from the start, and Refugi dels Estanys de la Pera, an alpine hut where you can stay overnight.

Further along the trail, you will find Área recreativa de les Pollineres, a picnic site perfect for a rest stop. Additionally, there are BBQ areas scattered throughout the route for you to enjoy a meal in nature. Be sure to visit the various peaks and saddles along the way, such as Pic de la Colilla and Port de Setut, which offer stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

As you approach the halfway point, you will reach the Cabana de Setut, a wilderness hut where you can take a break and refuel before heading back. Along the return journey, you can explore the Salt d'aigua del Planell waterfall and Font de les Pollineres spring.
