You are about to embark on an extremely difficult hike to Cabana de Setut in the stunning Pyrenees. The trail is an out-and-back route, totaling approximately 16.6 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1406 meters.

Your journey starts at a parking area with no fees, where you can leave your vehicle before beginning your adventure. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across various points of interest. Early on, at around 1.8 kilometers into the hike, you will find Refugi dels Estanys de la Pera, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery.

Around the 4-kilometer mark, you will encounter Pic de la Colilla, a prominent peak that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. As you continue onwards, you will reach Port de Setut at 6.25 kilometers, a saddle that provides a perfect spot to rest and take in the beauty of the Pyrenees.

Further along the trail, at approximately 8.18 kilometers, you will find Cabana de Setut, a wilderness hut where you can potentially spend the night if you're up for a multi-day adventure. Nearby, there is also Estany Petit de la Pera, a picturesque water body that adds to the charm of the area.

Throughout the hike, you will also come across several amenities such as picnic sites, BBQ spots, and water sources, ensuring that you have everything you need for a comfortable journey. Additionally, make sure to check out the Font de les Pollineres spring at 0.02 kilometers, a refreshing stop along the way.
