Hiking : Laghi del Mont Fortin

This extremely difficult 12.178-kilometer out-and-back hiking route takes you through the stunning area of Laghi del Mont Fortin. With an elevation gain of 452.0 meters, this trail is not for the faint of heart.

Starting from the parking area near Fountain, you'll pass by the Wayside Shrine at the beginning of the trail. As you continue on, you'll encounter the historic Rifugio Elisabetta Soldini Montanaro (C.A.I.) at 0.05 kilometers from the start, where you can take a break and enjoy the alpine hut.

Midway through the hike, at around 4.3 kilometers from the start, you'll find an information point where you can learn more about the area. Further along the trail, at 6.09 kilometers from the start, you'll reach Laghi del Mont Fortin, a beautiful natural water area where you can rest and take in the scenery.

Make sure to bring plenty of water, as this hike is challenging and the weather can change quickly in alpine regions. Always check the forecast before setting out on this adventure. Enjoy the breathtaking views and the sense of accomplishment when you reach the end of this demanding hike.
