This hiking route is located in the beautiful area of Pala de l'Abell and offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for hikers. With a total distance of 9.657 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1287 meters, this trail is considered extremely difficult and is recommended for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail, where you can conveniently leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike. Approximately 3.42 kilometers into the trail, you will encounter the stunning Estany de Ventolau, a picturesque water body that offers a perfect spot to take a break and soak in the surroundings.
Continuing on, at around 4.83 kilometers from the start, you will reach Coll de Calberante, a scenic saddle that provides panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. As you make your way further along the trail, you will come across Pic de Ventolau and Refugi de Crestuix, offering opportunities to appreciate the natural beauty and find shelter if needed.
