This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning natural features and historical landmarks. The trail is 6.377 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 629 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.

Starting at the parking area, you will set off on the trail, which is well-marked and easy to follow. About 3.16 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a water feature where you can take a break and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Nearby, at about 3.06 kilometers from the start, you will find another water feature called Estany de Mascarida.

Continuing on, at about 3.19 kilometers from the start, you will reach Estany del Diable, a beautiful lake that serves as the destination of this out-and-back hike. This serene spot is perfect for a rest and maybe even a picnic before heading back.

Along the way, you will also pass by Refugi de la Pleta del Prat, an alpine hut where you can find shelter and information about the area. About 2.14 kilometers from the start, you will encounter some historic ruins that add an extra element of interest to the hike.
