This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Windsfeldweg. This 10.737-kilometer trail offers stunning views and a challenging hike with an elevation gain of 835 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the hike, you will find the Metzgerbründl spring, a natural water source where you can refill your water bottle. As you continue on, you will come across several parking areas for your convenience.

About 5.32 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a series of natural water spots, including streams and small waterfalls, providing a refreshing break and picturesque scenery. These water features continue to appear sporadically throughout the trail, offering tranquil spots to rest and take in the surroundings.

Towards the end of the trail, around 3.57 kilometers from the start, you will find the Landzeit Tauernalm restaurant, where you can refuel with a meal or snack before turning back.
