This extremely difficult 14.047 km circular hiking route will take you through challenging terrain with an elevation gain of 779.0 meters. The hike is expected to take around 5 hours and 11 minutes to complete, so be prepared for a long and strenuous journey.
Starting from the trailhead, you will first encounter a parking area at 2.48 kilometers from the start, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike. As you continue along the trail, at around 5.58 kilometers from the start, you will come across a water feature, providing a refreshing pit stop for hikers.
Around the midway point of the hike, at 6.51 kilometers from the start, you will find an information point to learn more about the surrounding area. Additionally, at 6.52 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Hugo-Gerbers-Hütte alpine hut, where you can take a break and refuel before continuing on your journey.
