The Haldenweg hiking route is a super easy trail that spans approximately 1.435 kilometers with no elevation gain. The trail is an out-and-back style route, perfect for a leisurely walk in nature.
The hike begins at a parking area located at the start of the trail. As you make your way along the path, you will come across various points of interest. About 0.21 kilometers from the start, you will find a bench where you can take a quick rest. Further along at 0.35 kilometers, there is a natural spring where you can refill your water bottle.
Around 0.45 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter another bench, followed by a wayside cross named the Donut-Kreuz at 0.52 kilometers. Continuing on, at 0.62 kilometers, there is another bench for you to sit and enjoy the surroundings.
As you approach the midway point of the trail at 0.67 kilometers, there are natural water features nearby for you to admire. At 0.72 kilometers, you will find an informational point as well as another water source nearby.
For those looking to grab a bite to eat after the hike, there is a restaurant called Hotel-Restaurant Alte Mühle near the trail, about 0.72 kilometers from the start.
