This extremely difficult hiking route in Traversata Carnica offers a challenging adventure for seasoned hikers. The 12.529-kilometer trail has an elevation gain of 1002 meters and takes approximately 5 hours and 24 minutes to complete.

Starting at the parking area, hikers will pass by the Göriacher Alm wayside cross about 5.68 kilometers into the trail. This historic landmark provides a scenic stop along the way. At 5.84 kilometers, you will find a natural water source for a refreshing break before continuing your journey.

Further along the trail at 6.26 kilometers, there are two more water points for hikers to replenish their supplies. Additionally, at 5.71 kilometers, a natural spring offers another opportunity to refill water bottles.

For those looking to rest and take in the surroundings, benches can be found at various points along the trail. At 5.56 and 5.58 kilometers, benches provide a place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the hike.

As this is an out-and-back route, hikers will retrace their steps on the way back to the starting point. It is important to bring an adequate water supply and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging trek.
