The Feuersteig hiking route is located in a picturesque area with stunning natural landscapes and charming amenities. The trail is considered easy with a distance of 2.173 kilometers and an elevation gain of 145 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a convenient parking area (P 12) to leave your vehicle. As you continue, you will pass by a cafe around 0.1 kilometers from the start where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments.
Further along the trail, at approximately 0.49 kilometers from the start, you will find benches and a shelter for resting and taking in the surroundings. Around the midway point of the hike, there is a beautiful waterfall (0.46 kilometers from the start) where you can admire the cascading waters.
For those interested in history and culture, there are information points and historic shrines scattered along the route, providing valuable insights into the area's heritage. Additionally, there are picnic sites and viewpoints where you can relax and enjoy a scenic view of the surroundings.
