This hiking route takes you through the scenic area of Hartsop, offering a challenging yet rewarding trek. The 6.285-kilometer trail has an elevation gain of 541 meters, making it a difficult hike that will test your endurance.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Hartsop parking area, located right at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to park your vehicle here before embarking on the hike. About 1.64 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter a beautiful waterfall, adding a refreshing touch to your adventure.

The highlight of the hike is reaching The Knott peak, which is located approximately 3.14 kilometers from the start. This peak offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, rewarding you for your efforts. Along the way, you may also come across a bench where you can take a break and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

One notable point of interest, the Myers Head Lead Mine viewpoint, is situated about 0.6 kilometers off the trail. Although it may require a detour, the views from this spot are definitely worth the extra effort.
