This hiking route to Punta Marinelli is an extremely difficult but rewarding journey that spans 17.842 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1387 meters. The route will take approximately 7 hours and 35 minutes to complete, so be prepared for a long and strenuous hike.
Starting at Parceggio Campo Moro, you will trek through the rugged terrain of the area, surrounded by breathtaking alpine scenery. Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest that will add to the adventure.
About 4.68 kilometers into the hike, you will come across Rifugio Carate Brianza, an alpine hut where you can take a break and refuel before continuing on your journey. Further along at 6.22 kilometers, you will find Lago Di Musella, a picturesque lake that is worth a visit for its natural beauty.
As you approach the 7.32 kilometer mark, you will reach Rifugio Marinelli Bombardieri, another alpine hut where you can rest and enjoy the mountain views. Continuing on, you will pass by a series of water features, including a lake and a stream, adding to the tranquility of the hike.
At the 8.92 kilometer mark, you will reach Punta Marinelli, a peak that offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. Take your time to soak in the beauty of the landscape before retracing your steps back to the starting point.
