This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Accés a Sant Jaume de Frontanyà. The route is an out-and-back type, spanning a distance of 2.681 kilometers with an elevation gain of 104 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
Starting off, you will come across Font Mola, a drinking water source located just 0.12 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to refill your water bottle before continuing on your journey. As you proceed, you will pass by Cal Marxandó, a restaurant situated 0.08 kilometers from the start, where you can grab a meal or snack to fuel up for the rest of the hike.
Further along the trail, about 0.3 kilometers into the hike, you will find Les Forques, a peak that offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. This makes for a great stopping point to take in the scenery and maybe snap some photos. Nearby, at a distance of 0.81 kilometers from the start, an information point provides insights into the area's history and landmarks.
As you make your way back, be sure to take a break at one of the benches scattered along the trail, such as the ones located 0.04, 0.12, and 0.12 kilometers from the starting point. These are ideal spots to rest and appreciate the tranquility of the surroundings.
