This hiking route will take you through a challenging but rewarding journey in the beautiful alpine area surrounding Karrer Alm. With a total distance of 7.931 kilometers and an elevation gain of 689 meters, this trail is categorized as difficult, so be prepared for a strenuous workout.

As you embark on this out-and-back route, you will start at the parking area located at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to have enough water and snacks with you, as well as proper hiking gear and attire. It's always a good idea to check the weather forecast before heading out.

About 2 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a historic wayside cross along the trail. Take a moment to appreciate the significance of this cultural landmark. Nearby, there is also a bench where you can rest and enjoy the surrounding scenery.

Continuing on, at around 2.62 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water spot to refill your water bottle and stay hydrated throughout the hike. Further along the trail, at 3.33 kilometers, another bench provides a perfect spot to take a break and soak in the stunning views.

Finally, after a challenging ascent, you will reach Karrer Alm, an alpine hut nestled in the breathtaking surroundings. Take some time to relax and rejuvenate before making your way back along the same trail to the starting point.
