Welcome to the Zundereck hiking route, a challenging yet rewarding adventure in the picturesque wilderness of the area.

The trail begins at the parking area where you can leave your vehicle and start your journey into nature. As you make your way along the path, you'll come across a bench at around 0.36 kilometers from the start, offering a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

Continuing on, at approximately 0.53 kilometers from the beginning, you'll encounter the impressive Archtalwasserfall (waterfall). Take some time to admire the cascading water before pushing forward.

As you ascend further, reaching around 1.5 kilometers from the start, another bench awaits for you to rest and recharge before tackling the more challenging sections of the trail ahead.

The highlight of the hike is reaching the peaks of Zundereck and Zunderkopf at around 2.84 and 2.93 kilometers respectively. These vantage points offer stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, making the uphill climb well worth the effort.

Throughout the 5.851-kilometer route with an elevation gain of 730 meters, hikers can expect a difficult trek that will test their endurance and skill. It's crucial to come prepared with sturdy hiking shoes, plenty of water, snacks, and to check the weather forecast before heading out.

After soaking in the breathtaking views from the peaks, you'll retrace your steps back to the starting point, completing the out-and-back trail. Be sure to pace yourself and take breaks as needed to fully enjoy the experience.
