This hiking route takes you through the scenic area surrounding the Brecon and Merthyr Tydfil Junction Railway. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of approximately 1.934 kilometers and an elevation gain of 111 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area just 0.93 kilometers from the beginning of the trail, providing a convenient spot to leave your vehicle before heading out. Along the way, at about 0.49 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a series of picturesque waterfalls, with one waterfall located directly on the trail and another just a short distance away.
Continuing on, at approximately 0.97 kilometers from the start, you will find two more stunning waterfalls, both easily accessible from the trail. These natural wonders offer a perfect opportunity to take a break, snap some photos, and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings.
Further along the trail, around 0.58 and 0.61 kilometers from the start, you will discover two more charming waterfalls, each with its own unique beauty to admire. Additionally, at a distance of about 0.3 kilometers from the beginning, another lovely waterfall awaits, adding to the scenic allure of the hike.
