This challenging hiking route will take you to the stunning Monte Rocca area, offering breathtaking views and natural wonders along the way. The trail spans a distance of 10.5 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1023 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.
As you begin your journey, you will come across various points of interest. At the start, you will find parking facilities to leave your vehicle before embarking on the trail. Approximately 2 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter the picturesque Cascate Nardis waterfall, a perfect spot to take in the beauty of the surroundings.
Further along the trail, around the 5-kilometer mark, you will reach a viewpoint offering panoramic views of the area. This is a great place to rest and enjoy the scenery before continuing your hike.
Around the midway point, you will find dining options such as Chalet da Gino and Albergo Cascata di Nardis, where you can refuel and recharge for the rest of your journey. Additionally, there are information points along the trail to learn more about the area's history and natural features.
As you approach the turnaround point near Monte Rocca, you will have the opportunity to visit Scala di Bò, another point of interest along the trail. Finally, reaching the peak of Monte Rocca at the end of the trail will reward you with stunning views and a sense of accomplishment.
