This challenging hiking route will take you through the stunning mountainous area of Malga Soprasasso Alta. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 7.622 kilometers and an elevation gain of 916 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding journey.

As you start your hike, you will come across Valorz parking area, which is conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. Along the way, you will pass by Malghetta, where you can find facilities for a rest or a quick snack. About 0.8 kilometers into the hike, you will find a drinking water station for refilling your water bottles.

Continuing on, at approximately 1.52 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a mesmerizing waterfall that adds to the beauty of the surroundings. As you progress further, at around 2.81 kilometers, Malga Casera (Soprasasso di sotto) alpine hut will offer a tranquil spot to rest and enjoy the panoramic views.

Midway through your hike, at 3.63 kilometers, you will find Lago di Soprasasso, a picturesque water body nestled in the mountains. You can take a moment to relax by the lake before heading towards the ultimate destination of Malga Soprasasso Alta.

Towards the end of your journey, at 3.81 kilometers, you will reach Malga Soprasasso Alta alpine hut and shelter, where you can take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. The route provides a great opportunity to experience the beauty of nature and challenge yourself with its elevation gain.
