This challenging hiking route takes you to the beautiful area around Mittlerer Höhenberg. The trail is an out-and-back type, totaling 10.313 kilometers with an elevation gain of 947 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 4 hours and 45 minutes to complete.
Starting at the trailhead, you'll come across Gruebenseeli, a picturesque water feature about 2.88 kilometers from the start. As you continue on, at around 3.37 kilometers, you'll reach Salbithütte, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the stunning views. Further along the trail at approximately 5.16 kilometers, you'll reach Mittlerer Höhenberg, a peak offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Along the way, you'll also pass by Regliberg restaurant, perfect for refueling before heading back. Make sure to check out St. Mary artwork and the drinking water station at around 3.36 kilometers for a refreshing break.
