Welcome to the hiking route to Planina nad Vrhniko! This moderate 3.534-kilometer trail offers a fantastic outdoor experience in the stunning natural surroundings of Vrhniko.
Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest:
- At the beginning of the trail, you will find a water source just 0.19 kilometers from the start.
- Midway through your hike, at 1.02 kilometers from the start, you can enjoy breathtaking views from a viewpoint and take a rest on a bench.
- At 1.14 kilometers from the start, you will find the Lintvern spring.
- Close to the peak, approximately 1.77 kilometers from the start, is the Planina nad Vrhniko alpine hut, where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments.
- Near the peak, at 1.77 kilometers from the start, you will also find the Planina nad Vrhniko peak itself.
As you venture along the trail, you may also come across the Star maln picnic site, the Koča v Starem malnu restaurant, and the Star Maln biergarten. Additionally, informational points are scattered throughout the hike to provide you with interesting facts about the area.
