This difficult 6.122-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Pic de l'Angonella in Andorra. The trail starts at a parking area and ascends steadily, offering breathtaking views along the way.
At the beginning of the hike, you will pass by the peak of Pic de Cataperdis, which stands at 2.67 kilometers from the start. This picturesque peak provides a great spot to take in the surrounding natural beauty.
As you continue on, you will reach Port de Rat, a saddle located 1.86 kilometers from the start. This serene spot is perfect for a rest and to admire the landscapes around you.
Further along the trail, at around 3.06 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the peak of Pic de l'Angonella itself. The panoramic views from this point make the challenging hike well worth it.
On the way back, you can stop by Borda de la Coma, a restaurant located just 0.04 kilometers from the start, to refuel and relax after your hike.
With an elevation gain of 529 meters, this hike is best suited for experienced hikers. Make sure to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking boots, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
