This difficult 8.461-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you through the stunning natural beauty of l'Escambellet. The trail starts at a parking area and quickly leads you to Collet del Montalt, a saddle located 2.23 kilometers from the start. As you continue on, you'll reach Collet de la Mafla, another saddle 1.21 kilometers away. The trail then ascends to Montalt peak at 3.2 kilometers from the start, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surroundings.

Along the way, you'll come across informative signposts at various points, providing interesting insights into the area's history and wildlife. Make sure to stop by Montalt punta Nord viewpoint at 3.8 kilometers to admire the picturesque landscapes. Don't miss Coll de la Moleta, a saddle located 3.39 kilometers from the start, before reaching the ultimate destination of l'Escambellet peak at 4.23 kilometers.
