Located in the heart of the stunning natural beauty of the Refuge des Estaris - Jujal area, this hiking route offers an exciting adventure for outdoor enthusiasts. With a total distance of 10.428 kilometers and an elevation gain of 754.0 meters, this route is considered difficult in terms of intensity.
As you embark on this out-and-back trail, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the hike, you will find the Rocher des Estaris, a historic wayside cross situated just 1.08 kilometers from the starting point. Further ahead, at 0.75 kilometers into the trail, you'll encounter the ruins of an ancient site, adding a touch of history to your journey.
Throughout the hike, you will also pass by several natural water sources, including Lac des Sirènes and Lac Profond, offering picturesque views and a chance to refill your water supply. Be sure to stay hydrated and bring enough water for the entire trek, as some of these water sources may not be directly on the trail.
Midway through the route, at around 4.25 kilometers from the starting point, you'll find a picnic site where you can take a break, refuel, and enjoy a meal surrounded by nature. Additionally, at 4.49 kilometers in, you'll reach Lacs Jumeaux, offering a serene spot to relax and take in the beauty of the landscape.
