This hiking route takes you to the beautiful Font de Faja on the Camí de Tortellà a Bassegoda trail. The trail is an out-and-back type, totaling 10.441 kilometers with an elevation gain of 664 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 4 hours to complete.
Starting from the parking area at the trailhead, you will begin your journey with a short walk through the picturesque surroundings. Along the way, you will pass by a campsite, Càmping Sadernes, where you can take a break if needed. As you continue on, you will come across Hostal de Sadernes, a restaurant where you can grab a meal before or after your hike.
Midway through the hike, you will reach Coll de Faja, a saddle offering stunning views of the surrounding natural beauty. You can also find informational points along the trail, such as Sadernes and G42- Guitarriu, which provide interesting insights into the area.
Before reaching the final destination, Font de Faja, you will encounter Font del Serradell, a spring where you can freshen up and refill your water bottle. Font de Faja itself is a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the serenity of nature before heading back on the same trail.
