This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on an out-and-back journey to Chabre Sud 2 in a beautiful area with stunning viewpoints and natural attractions. The total distance of the hike is 13.213 kilometers with an elevation gain of 763 meters, requiring nearly five hours to complete.
Starting from the trailhead, you will find a convenient parking area within 0.1 kilometers. As you begin your hike, you will come across the La rivière un écosystème complexe information point, providing insights about the complex ecosystem of the area. Further along the trail, at a distance of 0.32 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Ribiers Val de Méouge information point and a relaxing bench to take a break.
Around the 0.9-kilometer mark, there is a drinking water point for hikers to refill their bottles. As you continue your journey, at 0.67 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Le Banc du Bouc viewpoint, offering a breathtaking panorama of the surroundings. Additionally, at 0.31 kilometers into the hike, there is a lovely picnic site where you can rest and enjoy a meal.
Midway through the hike, around the 6.56-kilometer mark, you will arrive at Les Esparrons peak, providing a rewarding view of the area. Near this peak, you will find the takeoff point for free flying at Chabre Sud 2, a popular site for aerial sports enthusiasts. On the way back, you will encounter the landing site for free flying at a distance of 4.66 kilometers from the start.
