Welcome to the Route de Saléon hiking trail! This route is located in a beautiful area with stunning viewpoints and diverse ecosystems to explore.

As you start your hike, you will pass by a parking area and make your way towards the first viewpoint. This viewpoint offers a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding landscape, making it a perfect spot to take in the beauty of the area.

Along the trail, you will come across a picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy a meal amidst nature. Further ahead, there are informational signs about the GP Serre de la Croix and the complex ecosystem of La rivière un écosystème complexe.

As you continue on, you will encounter more informational points about Ribiers Val de Méouge and Serre de la Croix, providing insights into the history and natural features of the region. Additionally, there are benches scattered along the trail where you can rest and soak in the peaceful surroundings.

For your convenience, there is a drinking water station mid-way through the hike to stay hydrated. Make sure to bring enough water and snacks for the journey, as this 13.894-kilometer route with an elevation gain of 556 meters is rated as extremely difficult.

Throughout the hike, you will also come across various viewpoints such as Le Banc du Bouc and other scenic spots where you can admire the beauty of the landscape.
