Welcome to the Sentier du Faucon hiking route in Montreuil! This circular route is a super easy hike with a distance of 0.823 kilometers and no elevation gain, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

As you start your hike, you will come across various points of interest along the trail. At the beginning, you will find parking facilities for your convenience. Further along, about 0.4 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter Mare perchée, a beautiful water feature where you can take a moment to appreciate the surroundings.

Continuing on, at around 0.26 kilometers from the start, you will come across a memorial dedicated to the 27 hostages of Châteaubriant, offering a poignant reminder of the area's history. As you progress, you will pass by several bicycle parking facilities and benches where you can take a rest and enjoy the scenery.

For a scenic viewpoint, make sure to visit both the Observatoire de la Butte aux Papillons and the Observatoire des Pâtres, located at approximately 0.39 kilometers from the start. These spots offer breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

As you near the end of the trail, don't miss the Espace de détente Georges Verry, a picnic site where you can relax and refuel before completing your hike. Finally, at the 0.4-kilometer mark, you'll encounter the picturesque waterfall of the region, adding a refreshing touch to conclude your journey.
