Welcome to the Pflasterweg hiking route in Kronberg im Taunus! This circular route offers a 3.794-kilometer trek with an elevation gain of 245 meters, making it an easy trail suitable for all skill levels.

Starting at the trailhead, you'll find the Schardtwald parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before starting your hike. Just a short distance from the start, you'll encounter the Gedenkstein zum Flugzeugabsturz 22. Januar 1971, a memorial marking a historical event in the area.
Continuing on, approximately 1.6 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the Ringwall Altkönig, an archaeological site that offers insight into the region's ancient history. For nature enthusiasts, the Altkönig peak, situated 1.9 kilometers from the start, provides breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
