Starting at Schardtwald parking lot, you will begin your journey by following the Pflasterweg trail. Along the way, you will come across the Gedenkstein zum Flugzeugabsturz 22. Januar 1971 memorial, located 0.57 kilometers from the start. This memorial serves as a reminder of a historic event in the area.
Continuing on, at 1.31 kilometers from the start, you will reach the ST.B und CB boundary stone, a significant historical landmark. Further ahead, at 1.81 kilometers, you will find the Altkönig peak, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
As you approach the 1.86-kilometer mark, you will encounter the Äußerer Ringwall archaeological site, followed by the Innerer Ringwall site, both showcasing the rich history of the region. Nearby, you can also rest at the Michael Bosch bench and enjoy a moment of tranquility.
