Welcome to the Avis MTB 001 hiking route near Windhoek! This easy out-and-back trail covers a distance of 3.802 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

Starting at the designated parking area 0.1 kilometers from the beginning of the trail, hikers will pass by Eagle's Beer Garden around the 0.57 kilometer mark, a perfect spot to grab a refreshment. Further along the trail at 0.83 kilometers, you'll find a water source where you can refill your bottles.

As you continue on, a viewpoint awaits at the 0.95 kilometer mark, offering stunning vistas of the surrounding landscape. For those who appreciate a good view, this is a great spot for a rest and some photos.

At the turnaround point 1.9 kilometers from the start, another viewpoint provides a different perspective of the area. Make sure to take a moment to soak in the scenery before heading back.
