This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and varying terrain. The total distance of the hike is 4.881 kilometers with an elevation gain of 390 meters, making it a moderate difficulty level.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by a parking area at the beginning of the hike. As you continue onwards, you will come across benches where you can take a rest and enjoy the surroundings. Around 2.44 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Hengsthütte Alpine Hut, where you can stop for a break and enjoy some refreshments.

Further along the trail, at the 0.05 kilometers mark, you will find Marias Land Stüberl, a restaurant where you can grab a meal. Throughout the hike, you will also come across more benches and information points, providing you with interesting insights into the area.

Midway through the hike, at around 1.31 kilometers, you will encounter Sattelberg Peak, offering breathtaking views of the surroundings. After taking in the vistas, you can retrace your steps back to the starting point, making it an out-and-back route.
