Welcome to the Poupet W hiking route!
Located in a beautiful area with historic landmarks and stunning viewpoints, this easy out-and-back trail spans approximately 3.2 kilometers with an elevation gain of 39 meters. The estimated duration of the hike is around 50 minutes.
At the beginning of the trail, you'll find a parking area and the historic Croix du Poupet wayside cross. As you continue on, make sure to visit the viewpoints along the way, such as Croix du Poupet and Mont Poupet Côte Belon. These spots offer breathtaking panoramic views of the surroundings.
Midway through the hike, you'll come across picnic sites and information points providing insight into the area's history and landmarks. Don't forget to take a break on one of the benches to soak in the peaceful atmosphere.
Towards the end of the trail, you'll encounter more viewpoints, including Poupet NW and Poupet S, which are popular free-flying sites for adventure enthusiasts.
