This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you on a challenging but rewarding journey through the stunning Harmony Lake Loop area. With a total distance of 23.116 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1266 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart.
As you embark on this adventure, you will encounter various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find Lot 6 parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before starting your hike. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across Lot 1 parking area, Fitzsimmons Express Chairlift, Harmony Lake, and the Roundhouse Lodge restaurant (which is wheelchair accessible).
Midway through the hike, you will discover several water points, including Harmony Lake and other natural water features that provide a refreshing break from the challenging terrain. Additionally, there are shelters and facilities available along the trail for hikers to rest and recharge.
Towards the end of the hike, you will pass by various dining options such as Milestones Grill & Bar, Zogs fast food, and a variety of other restaurants and pubs to refuel after your long journey. You may also encounter attractions like Wedge Rafting and the mesmerizing Inukshuk artwork.
Before embarking on this adventure, be sure to pack plenty of water, snacks, and necessary hiking gear. It is also essential to check the weather forecast and trail conditions beforehand. As this hike is extremely difficult, it is recommended for experienced hikers who are prepared for a strenuous and rewarding outdoor experience.
