This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding the University of Newcastle, Callaghan Campus in Newcastle. The trail is super easy, with a total distance of 1.747 kilometers and no elevation gain.

As you start your hike, you'll come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find parking at P16, where you can leave your car before embarking on the hike. Further along the trail, about 0.03 kilometers from the start, you'll find more parking options at P12 and refreshing water sources at the 0.87 and 0.73 kilometer marks.

As you continue on the trail, you'll also come across additional water sources at the 0.03, 0.16, and 0.84 kilometer marks. If you need a break or shelter, there is a shelter facility located 0.16 kilometers into the hike.

This out-and-back trail offers a leisurely walk with plenty of amenities along the way.
