Starting at the trailhead, you'll pass by the Forca Resuni alpine hut, a great spot for a rest or overnight stay around 5.51 kilometers into the hike. As you continue, you'll encounter the Fontanella dell'Orso drinking water point at 0.32 kilometers from the start, a perfect place to refill your water bottles.

Midway through the hike, you'll reach the peak of Monte Petroso, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Be sure to take a moment to appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds you.

Along the trail, you'll also find the Fountain della Lince and several other drinking water points to keep you hydrated. If you're looking for a bite to eat after your hike, the La Betulla restaurant at 0.3 kilometers from the start is a great place to refuel.

As you make your way back, consider stopping by the Bar della Lince for a refreshing drink before completing the route. Remember to check the weather forecast before heading out and pack plenty of water and snacks for the journey.
