This hiking route will take you to the stunning Gratlspitze peak, located in a picturesque area with beautiful views. The trail is an out-and-back type, starting at a parking area and spanning a distance of 4.487 kilometers with an elevation gain of 459 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.
As you set off on the trail, you will come across some useful amenities such as a drinking water station located 0.35 kilometers from the start. Further along, at 0.31 kilometers, you will find the Holzalm restaurant where you can take a break and refuel. Additionally, there are benches strategically placed along the route at 1.63 kilometers, 2.23 kilometers, and 2.24 kilometers for resting or enjoying the scenic surroundings.
Midway through your hike, at 2.24 kilometers, you will reach the Gratlspitze peak, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Along the way, there are also information points and a memorial to explore at 2.22 kilometers and 2.24 kilometers respectively.
